YouTube Foundry
Foundry began in 2016 as a series of workshops and content creation sessions at YouTube Spaces in Los Angeles, New York, and London. Its goal is to provide artists with tools to grow their presence on YouTube. Dua Lipa, ROSALÍA, Dave, CUCO, Gunna, Mahalia, Maleek Berry, Chloe x Halle, Jacob Collier, Rauw Alejandro, and Cavetown are the alumni artists of the program.
Dua Lipa participated in Foundry’s first year and became the youngest female artist to earn 1 billion views on a YouTube video.
Indeed, YouTube is the most interesting platform ever made in history which discovers the best artists around the world. Struggling artists can become millionaires and world-renown. In fact, something that might just be separating the two is who safely buys the most YouTube views to get started – assuming their music is good!
Timeless Collaboration of Artists
Foundry’s newest class featured 11 independent acts across the globe. These artists worked together to bring their music and stories to new audiences and build lasting relationships with their fans. Together, the class developed their music and visual content, becoming experts at building deep connections with their fans.
