Buying YouTube Views Tips / FAQ
So, you’re interested in buying YouTube views but have no idea where to start? Don’t worry. You are not alone! Over 200,000 people have purchased YouTube views in 2016 alone (as of July) and the numbers aren’t going down. Before you dive in and buy your first set of 1000 or 5000 YouTube views, let’s get a few things straight:
Why do you want to Buy YouTube Views?
If the answer is become more popular or gain more fans… try again. Buying YouTube views is NOT going to guarantee you’ll become popular or gain more “genuine” fans. Buying views is about looking more reputable and more popular than you actually are, to get people to take you more seriously and watch your apparently popular video – something called Social Proof.
Imagine this: You’re walking downtown and you’re looking for a place to eat. You walk by a restaurant that looks good, but is completely empty. Not a soul in sight. You think “The food’s probably not good” and keep on going. Is the food actually bad? Maybe. Maybe not. You made an assumption based on their lack of social proof.
Now imagine you passed by the same restaurant but it was packed! Would your opinion of the restaurant be different? 90% of people we surveyed said yes, their opinion would be different and a whooping 77% said you would be more likely to eat there if it was busier.
The same principles of social proof apply online. Buying YouTube views is like paying people to eat in your restaurant (or in this analogy, offering free or discounted food), in order to look more popular and draw in real, full-paying customers.

The phrase “You get what you pay for” has never been more true than when buying YouTube views. Quality views are not just nice to have, they’re essential for your video’s survival… literally! Buying low-quality or cheap views is not longer an option if you’re serious about your YouTube videos, as it can potentially get your video removed by YouTube themselves – something we’ve seen a lot of people complain to us about.
Buying high-quality is the best only option when buying views. But what is the difference between high-quality and low-quality views? Simply put, everything!
Low-Quality | High-Quality | |
---|---|---|
Low-Quality | High-Quality | |
Real Human | No / Unlikely | Yes |
Retention Rate | 1 - 10% | 70 - 100% |
Location | Russia / Eastern Europe | USA / UK / Australia |
Activity | None | Active on YouTube |
IP Address | Same / Similar | Unique / Different |
Browser | Same | Different Browsers |
Cookies | Dead Giveaway | Diverse |
Risky? | Definitely! | No / Unlikely |
As you can note, cheap views suck… hard. On the surface they may appear as 1 view, but YouTube keeps track of all the little things. How long the user viewed your video, where are they from, what’s your activity on YouTube, how do they react to your video and so much more. Enough low-quality views and YouTube will suspect something’s up – either your video sucks or the views are fake. Neither are good. So, avoid buying cheap and low-quality views.
Are Bought YouTube Views Adsense Safe?
There is no easy answer to this one. Each provider is different in their approach – some are safe and some aren’t. We DID NOT test Adsense safety within our reviews, so our best suggestion is to disable Adsense for your video if you’re purchasing views for it. We asked Devumi, our current #1 provider and they responded with the following:
Our YouTube views may come from real people, but this doesn’t mean that viewers will click on ads or help you generate revenue. In fact, our study shows that the vast majority of the viewers we send will not click on Ads, and thus drop the click-through-rates of an Adsense account to dangerous levels. We always recommend our clients disable Adsense for any video we work on to avoid any unnecessary risks.
Is Buying YouTube Views Legal?
100% Legal! We see this question all the time. Buy YouTube Views is completely legal in every country in the world, and you won’t be getting into any trouble.
